While rare, sometimes delivery mistakes happen. Not to worry, this is why we've added an affordable shipping insurance option to protect your orders from unforeseen circumstances like theft, damage in transit or loss.

Once we hand your package off to the carrier, the risk of losing the package, theft, and damage passes onto you as the purchaser. Which is why we highly recommend using the third party shipping insurance offered on our website at checkout (available for about 1% of the order cost). 

How To Opt In To Shipping Insurance

To opt in, you will see a prompt and checkbox once you are on the checkout page. Once the box is checked, you will then see the insurance as an additional item in your cart.

If there is an issue with an order that is protected follow the steps below and we'll help you file a claim

I Need To File A Claim

No problem! You can simply chat us via the blue box on the bottom right corner of your screen or e-mail us at orders@fireflychocolate.com. 

Please include:

  • order number
  • the issue (damaged / lost / stolen)
  • a photo of the damage if you have it

Then we'll file your claim for you and keep you up to date on the claim progress.

Does insurance cover 2-day guaranteed shipping?

If your placed an order with guaranteed 2-day shipping and it didn't arrive within 2 days, you are eligible for a full refund. See more information here:
